The sound of flowers　花の音　2019 -

身近にあった生と死に向き合う中で、花の命に惹かれ救われた。種から芽、葉が生えて、蕾が膨らみ、花が開く。そして、枯れ、新しい蕾に出会うこともたまにあり。数日間めいいっぱい咲いては散っていく花々の短命な時間の中で、その花から聴こえそうな音をイメージし、キャンバスにその時間と音を封じ込めるよう描いている。
As I faced life and death around me, I was drawn to the life of flowers, and my heart was saved. Sprouts are coming up from seeds, leaves and flowers buds are budding, coming into flower. Then, flowers are fading. Sometimes we can see new buds on the same plants. In the short-lived time of the flowers, which bloom for a few days and then fall, I imagine the sounds I might hear from them. After that I paint those images on canvas to contain that times and sounds.
